We welcome church communities, education and government agencies, professional
and community organizations.
Away from the daily distractions, groups can meet, plan, pray, and enjoy peaceful, quiet natural surroundings. Our facilities are ideal for spiritual retreats and renewal, conferences, meetings, seminars, training, workshops, and planning sessions.
Our retreat centers are open year-round. They are non-profit and supported by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. They include the Madonna Center in Albuquerque and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Retreat and Conference Center in Santa Fe.
Madonna Retreat
& Conference Center
Madonna Retreat and Conference Center rests atop the West Mesa and has a panoramic view
of the Sandia Mountains, the Rio Grande River, and the City of Albuquerque. One can see
spectacular Southwestern sunrises and sunsets. The retreat center is located eight miles from downtown.
Madonna Retreat Center has 50 rooms which accommodate 50 to 100 persons overnight. Some rooms
include private bathrooms. Catering is available for meals, coffee breaks, and snacks. Conference
rooms accommodate 33 to 150 persons. A chapel is available for private or group reflection.
Ideal for parish retreats, staff retreats, days of reflection, special ministry gatherings,
and especially for youth, religious education, and sacramental retreats, like Confirmation
and RCIA.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Retreat & Conference Center
Immaculate Heart of Mary Retreat and Conference Center is located high in the pinon-covered
hills, two miles from the historic 17th century Plaza of Santa Fe, next door to Museum Hill museums, and on the municipal bus line. The Center also offers opportunities
for outdoor activities such as hiking.
Our retreat center has 47 rooms and accommodates 86 persons overnight. Private bathrooms are available for 23 rooms. Catering is available for meals, coffee breaks, and snacks. Conference space includes an auditorium with a stage, seating up to 250 persons.
Other conference rooms can accommodate 30 to 80 persons. Three chapels are available for private
or group prayer experiences, seating 25 to 100 persons.
